Freestyle Scooter Test Criteria 2022

This year we have selected some criteria for our freestyle scooter test. The freestyle scooters 2022 sold at SK were tested for stability, riding comfort and quality of the individual parts during testing. The aim of this test is to find out which models and brands are good value for money and which models are suitable for every level.

One thing is certain: the selected scooters available on SK Shop are high-quality freestyle scooters that combine robustness and manoeuvrability. The comparison results of the most popular children's freestyle scooters and adult freestyle scooters can be found in the overview below. This year we have found that there is something new not only for professionals, but also for scooters of all levels.

There is currently a whole range of affordable freestyle scooters that are perfect for beginners and children: e.g. the Envy Colt S5 or the famous Bloody Mary by Versatyl. A freestyle scooter for professionals or advanced riders does not necessarily have to be expensive. With a budget of 200€, you already have access to scooters that have nothing more to prove, such as the Erawan freestyle scooter by Ethic DTC.

For a budget between 200€ and 300€, we offer you the crème de la crème of freeride scooters. Among them: the heavy Envy Prodigy S9 or the Vulcain by Ethic DTC.

Conclusion freestyle scooter test

Finally, we would like to give you the following conclusion of our freestyle scooter test this year. The Fuzion Pro Z350 is the ideal scooter model for intermediates who want to slowly learn the basics and practice their first tricks. A very stable scooter with an optimal price-performance ratio! For experienced trick- and freestyle scooter riders, the models by Envy / Blunt or Invert a more suitable choice.

At SK, we also have models whose reputation precedes them. This is the case with the Erawan scooter from Ethic DTC, which is perfect for riders who are slowly gaining experience and want a scooter that will accompany them for many years. Ethic is a brand that is known for its very high quality parts.

For beginners, this year we offer the Blunt Colt S5 model: It is the ideal children's scooter. It is small and light and perfect for small children and beginners.

And of course, a choice for street riders: the Native Stem pictured above or the Envy Prodigy S9 Street, which is available in three colours.

Many riders and beginners sometimes forget that this is an item for daily use. Every freestyle scooter has wearing parts that need to be replaced regularly. The wheels of a freestyle scooter wear out particularly quickly. If you land crooked several times, there is a risk that the rubber will come off the plastic. This is not a material defect, but pure wear and tear or incorrect handling. This can also happen with a particularly high jump or a hard landing, which manifests itself in cracks in the fork, handlebar or deck. Of course, we always check whether a complaint is a production defect. But often we can tell that it is a sign of wear and tear.

At the freestyle Scooter FAQ's here on the SK Shop website, we give you important tips and tricks for the assembly and care of all parts. Below you will find links on the subject of freestyle scooters. In the future, we will continue to extensively test all new freestyle scooter models and report our experiences to you. We would certainly be pleased if you let us know your opinion.
